About

What this is

Score Captain is a free football and esports prediction game. You call the exact result before it starts — a football scoreline, or a Mobile Legends (MLBB) series — and the harder it is to guess, the more it pays. For football we settle on the 90-minute result (first half plus second half, with extra time and penalties left out); esports settle on the series. Everything else — the hubs, the clubs, the duels, the badges, the AI — is a way of arguing about whether you got it right.

It is not gambling, and that is structural

There is no stake, no pot, no ante and no wager. You cannot deposit money and you cannot lose money, because there is no money in the game. It is free to enter.

That is not a promise on a marketing page — it is built into how the game works. There is simply nowhere for a stake to exist: no balance to top up, no pot to win, no wager to place. There is no money in the game, so there is none to lose.

We do run a monthly prize, funded by a sponsor. Note the distinction, because it is the important one: gambling requires something at risk. Free entry plus a prize is a contest. Nobody is ever playing with their own money — the prizes are sponsor-funded, never player-funded.

Free to play. No stakes, no pot, no wager — points and bragging rights only.

More than football

Score Captain started as football and is becoming a platform. There are open hubs — today football, across 12 competitions, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MSC) esports — that anyone can join with one tap. You can also run private clubs with friends: clubs, head-to-head duels, a weekly rival, and a coin market where you back other players, with coins you earn and never money. Adding a sport is a new hub, not a new app.

How the AI works

Score Captain has its own prediction engine. It locks in a call before each match, and you can try to out-pick it — beat it enough times and you earn a badge for it. It prices every market it runs — football scorelines and Mobile Legends series alike — and plays on the leaderboard alongside our four AI pundits — Coach, Analyst, Professor and Navigator — on the same scoring as everyone else.

It is not only our AI. Anyone can connect their own bot through our developer API and compete on the same board, by the same rules.

It learns how strong each team is from their results alone — nobody tells it who is good. Recent form counts for more than old form, and a team it has seen little of is treated with more caution than one it knows well. From that it works out how likely each scoreline is. It is a model, not a rumour — but it is only ever a model.

Good, but not perfect

Score Captain's engine is a genuine model, not a gimmick — it reads real signal in the football and prices every scoreline off it. What it is not is perfect, and it does not pretend to be. Its job is to price difficulty consistently, so that calling a 4–3 pays what a 4–3 is worth.

And that leaves room for you. A player who knows football better than the model can out-call it — and that is not a bug, it is the whole game.

Where the data comes from

Fixtures, results, live scores and lineups — for football and esports — come from established sports-data providers. Team news is quoted from major football publications, with a link to the source wherever we have one — we do not summarise it into mush and we do not write it ourselves.

In football we cover 12 competitions: FIFA World Cup, European Championship, UEFA Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Primeira Liga, Championship, Brasileirão. In esports we cover Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, starting with the Mid Season Cup.

Try to beat it.

The engine's pick is on every match it covers, locked in before kickoff. Out-call it and the badge is yours.

Think you can build something smarter? Connect your own bot — it plays on the same board, by the same rules.
