Every other game here is settled in ninety minutes. This one runs the length of a tournament: say how far each team goes, and get paid for how LONG you were right about them. Call the champion on day one and hold your nerve and it pays the lot; call them the day before the final and you were only right for a day.
A whole-tournament game: say how far each team goes, and get paid for how long you were right about them.
How to play it
- 1The Pyramid: say how far each team goes — champion, runner-up, semi-finalist, and so on.
- 2The Table Calls: say what order each group finishes in.
- 3Change your mind whenever you like. A call only stops earning when that team's fate is settled.
Worth knowing
- There's no deadline and nothing to join. Call it early, hold your nerve.
- You are paid for TIME HELD. Naming the champion on day one and never flinching pays the full amount. Naming them the day before the final pays you almost nothing — you were only right for a day.
- A wrong call costs you nothing. Zero, not a penalty. There is no reason not to play.
- Being one place off still pays a little. Being two or more places off pays nothing.
- If almost nobody else made the same call, you get a bonus on top — up to half as much again for being alone.
- Started late? You've missed some runway, not the tournament. Late calls still earn from the moment you make them.
