How it works

Calls

A scoreline says what you think. A Call says why — and puts your name on it before anyone can see whether you were right. Everything about how Calls work exists to protect that: they stay sealed until kickoff so nobody can read the room, and they cannot be edited afterwards so nobody can rewrite history.

A Call is your pick with your reasoning attached — 140 characters saying what happens and why, before a ball is kicked.

How to play it

  1. 1Open a match and write your Call. Same deadline as your pick: 5 minutes before kickoff.
  2. 2Nobody can see it yet. Every Call in the match stays hidden until the whistle.
  3. 3At kickoff they all reveal at once — and yours is locked forever.

Worth knowing

  • Calls hide until kickoff so nobody can read the room and copy the smart money.
  • Once revealed you can't edit or delete it. That's the whole idea: you're on the record.
  • Other people can react to your Call with Bold 🔥, Called it 🎯, or Oof 😬.
  • The number on a match card is just how many people have called it — it never leaks what they picked.
  • You need a verified account to post a Call. Guests can pick scores, but they can't talk.
