How it works

Club duels

Head-to-head at the scale people actually talk in. The global board ranks clubs by combined total, which means forty casuals beat eight sharp ones on headcount alone and a tight club has nowhere it can win. A club duel fixes that: two clubs, two named squads, one week, compared on average rather than volume.

Your club against another one for a week. Each side names a squad, and it's scored on AVERAGE points per squad member — so a big club has no advantage.

How to play it

  1. 1Get the other club's 6-character code — the same one people join with.
  2. 2Only the owner can challenge, and only their owner can accept.
  3. 3Both sides name a squad of at least three. The moment they accept, both squads freeze.
  4. 4It runs seven days and settles itself. Nothing to enter, nothing to claim.

Worth knowing

  • AVERAGE, not total. A squad of 4 averaging 12 beats a squad of 20 averaging 11.
  • Everyone you name counts in the average, even if they never pick. That's the point of naming a squad.
  • Squad size is yours to choose. A small squad swings on one result; a big one is steady. Neither is a handicap.
  • Squads freeze on accept — so you can't drop someone once you've seen their score, and you can't sign a ringer mid-round either.
  • Only the matches already on the schedule when they accepted count. If one gets postponed into the week, it doesn't.
  • Every point you were already earning counts. There is nothing extra to do.
  • It pays NO points. You win the record, the badges, and the right to say so.
  • There's no decline button. Ignore a challenge and it expires in 72 hours. If a club keeps calling you out, rotate your join code — they can't challenge what they can't spell.
  • Nobody can challenge you unless you gave them your code — unless you turn on 'Open to challenges' in Manage, which puts your club on the Clubs board for anyone to call out. It's off until you turn it on, and you can turn it back off.
  • Your record resets on the 1st, like everything else.
  • Your club can only be in one duel at a time.
  • A tag team splits its exact-score prize, so a duel counts what you scored on your own — teaming up with squadmates won't inflate your club's average.
